ARTIST: Lana Del Rey
BACKGROUND: The Born to Die Tour was originally announced as just four dates at very small venues in Berlin, London, New York, and Los Angeles, but when the video for the song ‘Video Games’ went viral on the internet, it raised very high expectations of a major tour cycle. With very few assets supplied and initially no direct input or brief from management, we were asked to “pull out all the stops” and accordingly developed this rather opulent and more fashion focused product line, which includes all over dye-sublimation printed t-shirts, cut and sew garments, perfect bound hardback books, and a cast metal detail hip flask.
DELIVERABLES: Design development, liaison with artists stylist, project co-ordination with printers and manufacturers.
